Colin Miles 2.5 Ring

The Colin Miles 2.5 Ring is a great schooling bit with a 55mm centre piece creating greater tongue pressure. The rings give the horse something to play with and help keep the horses attention on the bit. A Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll. All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it: ·         oxidises easily ·         encourages salivation ·         helps bit acceptance ·         is warm and sweet Please note the blue will fade with use.
